Marian and I spent four days in Toowoomba from 19 September to enjoy the Carnival of Flowers in its 75th year. We also visited Marian’s early family homes and those of her family. On our last full day we did a long road trip to the west of Dalby to see familiar towns.

On our first day we obtained copious information from the Tourist Information Centre and planned our own route visiting the main parks and a couple of winning gardens where parking allowed.
