Overnight we moved to Kalooma Bay to allow us our first Zodiac cruise up the King George River to the twin King George Falls. It was the first time on a Zodiac for both of us and it was a far from enjoyable experience. At 8 nm it was much longer than usual and for over half the journey we were driving into or before a stiff breeze with spray breaking over the boat.
It was pleasant in the shelter of the river but the falls as our point of interest were extremely disappointing with virtually no water flow. We were more selective in choosing our Zodiac options in future days.

Queueing for the fresh water shower as the bow is under the falls

No one keen for a shower on our boat

We survived the trip, but acquired some sore muscles and other parts of our anatomy
