One of the on board scientists persuaded us to be on the upper deck at 04.30 to see the Perseid meteors. About 2 dozen passengers including Michael followed his advice. Sadly no shooting stars were seen, but we did see the close conjunction of Jupiter and Mars and the nebula in Orion's sword scabbard. No photos but everyone was using the Stellarium app which you point to sky and it shows the constellations, stars and planets.

We took a short Zodiac ride to see some rock art but the climb up the rocks was steep and Marian stayed on beach and recorded my climbing progress.
