Michael left the next morning on the coach for the 3-day Kakadu Tour. Marian spent most of the day in the emergency ward of Darwin hospital being thoroughly checked out. No problems were found and she was discharged by evening.

Then it was off to the cruise of the Yellow Billabong off the South Aligator River.

Then it was on to the town of Jabiru and the Mercure Crocodile Hotel.

Day 2 Arnhem Land

It was then on to a more primitive 4wd bus with dtiver/guide Jason, to take us across the East Aligator River into Arnhem Land at Cahill's Crossing with at least a dozen crocs on each side of the crossing. A very rough bush track took us to a traditional aboriginal day use area in the Mikginj Valley with a beautiful billabong, open forest and floodplain.
