On Tuesday 26 August I bid farewell to the the Inces and braved the big holdups on the A1M to arrive at the Timlins in Harrogate. After lunch we walked through the Pinewoods to RHS Garden Harlow Carr.

With the forecast doubtful we drove to York and took the park and ride. Morning sun allowed us to walk the walls.

We then walked to the National Railway Museum with its many exhibits too numerous to record. Here are some of them.

That evening we had an excellent dinner at The Nelson Inn gastropub near Harrogate. The next day I bid the Timlins farewell and headed north to Newcastle.
