Marian and I, in our first trip as a couple, flew to Adelaide on Saturday 27 July 2024 staying at The Playford overnight. The next day we boarded The Ghan.

We were lucky to lunch with a couple from Adelaide who knew the country through which we passed.

We had to wake at 5 am the next morning to watch the sun rise at Marla, SA. It was bitterly cold just 1 C. Fires were of some help.
